Why Metheora for Art Week
Art Week Is a Logistics Problem Disguised as an Art Event.
Miami Art Week isn’t one fair at one address. It’s more than twenty fairs and hundreds of events scattered from the Miami Beach Convention Center to Wynwood, the Design District, and Downtown — across seven days when the causeways seize every evening and rideshare surges the moment a gallery empties. The people who move through it well aren’t the ones with the best routing app. They’re the ones who stopped booking cars one at a time and started keeping one for the week.

Every Booking
What Every Art Week Booking Includes
Eight things you never have to ask for — standard on every Art Week booking we run.
👔
One Chauffeur, All Week
You’re matched to a single chauffeur who learns your hotel, your fairs, and your timing — not a different driver every trip.
🧾
A Vehicle Held for You
The car stays with you between venues, so bags, coats, and catalogues never leave the boot and there’s always somewhere to regroup.
📈
Locked Rates, No Surge
Your rate is agreed before December. It doesn’t move when a gallery empties and every app in Wynwood surges at once.
⏱️
Every Venue, One Booking
Miami Beach Convention Center, Wynwood, the Design District, Downtown, Bal Harbour — all under one arrangement across the week.
🔒
Late-Night and After-Dinner
Openings and dinners that run past midnight are the norm, not the exception. Your vehicle is there when the causeway is at its worst.
🚗
Airport and FBO Arrivals
Flight-tracked pickups at MIA, FLL, and the private terminals, coordinated to roll straight into your first fair.
📞
Discretion as Standard
Chauffeurs sign confidentiality agreements. Collectors, guests, and acquisitions stay private.
🛡️
A Desk That Answers
A named contact and a direct line for the week — changes to the schedule go through a person, not a ticket queue.
What We Cover
One Vehicle Across the Whole of Art Week
From a single collector arriving at MIA to a gallery team working every fair for a week — Miami Beach, Wynwood, the Design District, Downtown, and Bal Harbour, all under one booking and one chauffeur.
🎨
The Multi-Fair Day
Convention Center in the morning, a satellite fair after lunch, a Design District opening at night — moved on one schedule, not four separate bookings.
👥
Gallery & Brand Teams
A Sprinter that keeps the whole team on one timetable, with a driver holding everyone’s bags between the booth and the dinner.
🥂
Collector Hospitality
Guests moved in waves to a seated dinner with a hard start time, arrivals timed so nobody walks in late.
✈️
Arrivals for the Week
Flight-tracked pickups from MIA, FLL, and the private terminals, rolling straight into your first fair.
🌙
Late-Night Transfers
Openings and after-parties that finish past midnight, when the causeway is worst and rideshare has vanished.
🏨
Hotel-to-Fair Runs
Standing runs between your hotel and the fairs across the week, on your rhythm rather than a shuttle timetable.

How It Works
From First Call to the Last Dinner
Tell Us Your Week
One call or message with your dates, your hotel, and the fairs you’re planning. We hold the right vehicle before December fills up.
We Map the Days
We build your movements around the fairs and dinners you’re actually attending, with slack for the causeway at its worst.
One Chauffeur Runs It
The same chauffeur all week, arriving ahead of time, holding your bags between venues, and adjusting as the schedule shifts each morning.
You Just Show Up
No parking, no surge, no rideshare roulette at midnight — the car is where you left it, waiting.
Art Week is the single most compressed week on the Miami calendar. Vehicles are committed well before the first preview — the later you arrange it, the narrower the options. Book your dates now and refine the schedule closer to December.
Planning the Week
Built for the People Organising Everyone Else’s Art Week.
Gallery directors, brand teams, and the assistants booking for principals are the ones who feel a bad Art Week vendor. Metheora gives you one point of contact for the whole week, so transport is the thing that doesn’t go wrong.
Named Contact for the Week
One person who knows your dates, your fairs, and your people — reachable directly, not through a queue.
The Same Chauffeur Throughout
Request the same driver for named guests. They learn the hotel, the timing, and the way your group moves.
One Invoice for the Week
Every ride across every day and every guest arrives on a single statement, coded however you need it.
Guest-Ready Documentation
Certificates of insurance and vendor forms issued on request for brand and corporate hospitality.
Art Week Program
Hold a Vehicle for Art Week
Used by galleries, collectors, brand teams, and family offices moving through Miami Art Week.
About Metheora Limo
Miami’s Art Week Transportation Partner
Miami Beach, Wynwood, the Design District, and Downtown turn into one continuous event for a week each December, and moving between them at the wrong hour can cost you a private view or a seat at a dinner. Metheora has provided discreet, chauffeured transportation across South Florida for over a decade, and Art Week is the week it was built for: many venues, many people, one vehicle that stays with you and one desk that answers.

Miami Art Week Transportation — Frequently Asked Questions
How does Art Week transportation work — do I book each trip or the whole week?
Both are available, but most people hold a vehicle for their dates rather than booking trip by trip. You’re matched to one chauffeur and one vehicle for the week, and the schedule is adjusted with you each morning around the fairs and dinners you’re attending. Single transfers and hourly bookings are also offered.
Which Art Week venues and neighbourhoods do you cover?
All of them. The Miami Beach Convention Center, the satellite fairs in Wynwood and the Design District, Downtown and Brickell hotels, Bal Harbour, and the dinners in between — across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach. Because it’s one arrangement, moving between venues doesn’t mean a new booking each time.
How early should I book for Miami Art Week?
As early as your dates are firm. The first week of December is the most compressed week on the Miami calendar, and vehicles are committed well before the fairs open. You can book against your dates now and refine the venues and timing closer to the week.
Is it cheaper to just use rideshare during Art Week?
For a single trip at an ordinary hour, often yes. Across a multi-venue week it usually isn’t — surge pricing spikes exactly when fairs and dinners let out, groups can’t travel together, and there’s nowhere to leave bags between venues. A held vehicle is a fixed, surge-free rate for the week.
Can you handle a group or a full gallery team?
Yes. An Escalade ESV seats up to six and an executive Sprinter up to fourteen, with larger rosters handled as a multi-vehicle booking on one schedule. It’s the usual arrangement for gallery teams and brand hospitality.
Do you cover late-night openings and after-dinners?
Yes — they’re the norm during Art Week, not the exception. Your vehicle is available for openings and dinners that run past midnight, which is exactly when the causeways are worst and rideshare is hardest to find.
